You know that feeling you kinda get when you think you might be getting sick? Well, I thought that I was invincible to the colds (or sinus infections or whatever those of you I know thought you had) that have been going around, but right now at this very moment I don't feel it to be true any more. This is very sad to me because it is Monday, and that have some very serious implications. I will spare you the details other than to say that I have a test on Friday that I need to take with clear sinuses.

In light of this whole cold scare I would like to comment on something I heard in the breakroom today at the hospital. Two women were taking their breaks (watching "The View") and they were talking about the difference between how they act when they get sick and how their husbands act. I would just like to add my amen to what they said. Men cannot handle illness, there seems to be a long stay in bed, or an absence from work or whatever duties they may have each day when they get the sniffles. Women, on the other hand, get out of bed and SUCK IT UP (no pun intended, sick). So, when you see a girl with a red nose, please, give her a warm smile and maybe even a tissue - just because she is up doesn't mean she wants to be.

I am hoping that my immune system is so amazing that nothing comes of this... but we shall see.

If you are the one that gave this miserable thing to me I expect juice and soup.

thanks to kerri for making us some buttons for our blog. let's hear it for kerri! hip-hip-...uh....etc!
