What kind of crap is this?
Who are those jurors? Basically they just told a nation, who's morals are already declining, that it is okay to shoot your neighbor, cut him up into pieces and send them off to sea. I am not okay with this. I don't care that he claimed that he did it because he was afraid no one would believe that it wasn't on purpose, tough crap. If you and your neighbor dislike each other enough that either one would pull out a gun, don't go visit him, it's as simple as that.

Not enough evidence? Please, those jurors are a bunch of chickens, that's all they are. They don't have the balls to stand up for anything. What kind of evidence do they need? Who chops up their neighbor???????? No one that's in their right mind, so stick him in a mental institution.

This really bugs me. Do I even need to mention this part:
"During several days on the stand, Durst testified that he panicked when he realized Black was dead. He said that, because he was living under an assumed name and being investigated in his first wife's disappearance, police would never believe the death was an accident."

And finally let's quote one of the jurors on the fact that the only missing body part was the head: "'I didn't think you could have a case without the head. I thought you needed the whole body,' juror Deborah Warren told reporters. 'But they said you can still have a trial without the head.'" Auhhh!!! Why do they let these kinds of people be jurors? This statement reminds me of a man who killed his mother and cut off her hands in hopes that they would not be able to identify the body. Has anyone ever heard of DNA, or forensics?

"Sistrunk made a case in his closing argument, over the objection of the defense, that Durst cancelled a one-way flight to New York and drove to New Orleans after Black's death because Continental Airlines would not accept a head as a carry-on item. "

Man, I hate those new security measures.

Please read the whole story if you don't already know about it, it's unnerving.
