New Healthy Way to Live!
Every morning at about 6:15am I head off to my internship, ready for my 15 minutes of "news." This is a different kind of news because it is presented by the radio station, whichever one I've chosen to listen to, but still considered news. Then I get to the hospital and watch more news for about 2.5 hours. This doesn't seem to be normal news either, that or there just isn't much going on around these parts. If I had a TV at my house, with cable, I would watch KTLA morning news, now that is some good stuff. Anyway, I watch the news for those 2.5 hours then I get to take a break at about 9:30 or so and I watch the news in the breakroom for about 15 mins, same bad, boring stories all over again. Then we watch the news for an hour at noon. Once again, same bad, boring stories. Go ahead and quiz me about what is going on in Utah and Salt Lake counties, as long as I've been to the hospital that day I am guaranteed to know what is going on.
That's really no the point of this particular blog though, so here it is. On the radio this morning there was an interesting bit of news...
For all of those health conscious individuals there is a new beer. It's a low carb beer. That's right, now you can be healthy while drinking your beer, who would have thought? Not me. Now, if you are a beer drinker, don't worry at all about what it might do to your liver. In your last moments of life while your liver is failing you just remember that you've succeeded in life and are dying thin and healthy. Way to go.

Michael Jackson's Newest Plight That's Not So New.
I would like to take just a second and talk about good old Michael Jackson. Yesterday I was looking at CNN and saw in big bold letters the town ofSanta Maria, CA attached to this man's name. So, I read it, how could I not, it's one of those attention grabbers that you cannot resist (or I can't anyway.)
He has been accused, once again, of child molestation. I don't have any idea if it is true. Only Michael and the accuser really know if it's true. That's what our country is partly based on, right, innocent until proven guilty? Let's not jump the gun here and call him a child molester, it's almost like a witch hunt, but we're only hunting one man, over and over again. If he is guilty, I hope that he burns, because that is just wrong in every way.
I am not, in anyway, on his side either. Just by looking at him you know that there's got to be something wrong with him, whatever that might be.
The story is listed under the Entertainment heading, what's with that? I know that he is an entertainer, and that he made the Jackson 5 cool, but can't we make a sub heading called Entertainers Gone Wrong? We really should not be entertained by this story so much as we should be disturbed that there might be another child molester.
